American country music band Lonestar is no longer on the BNA Records roster, according to a spokesman for Sony BMG in Nashville. Mountains, the band's latest BNA CD, was released Oct. 17, 2006. With disappointing sales, the Lonestar CD is not currently ranked among the 75 titles on Billboard 's country albums chart.

Why is this so cool? Imagine running a full-screen presentation from a blog, or playing with numbers in spreadsheet to display different scenarios in a graph or chart.

New albums are entering the chart and some immediately sit at the Top 10, including the topper this week, Notorious B.I.G.

Kazakhstan's favorite son is doing the funky chicken at the top of the DVD charts. "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" was shadowed on the sales chart by Disney's double-disc revival of "Peter Pan" (No. 2) and Oscar heavy "The Departed" (3).

Most seem to come from technical avocations, like engineering, computers and sciences. These people worry so much about trying to put numerical ratings on things that they are completely oblivious to the fact that cameras or test charts have nothing to do with the spirit of an image. We have dubbed them "Measurbators."
